This is a lovely figurine by Marcolin Sweden. In clear lead crystal, the subject is a stag at repose, in a slightly stylized form.
Taught by Murano masters, Josef Marcolin was Italian but started his own atelier in Sweden in 1960. The pieces bearing his name are a delightful mix of ancient Murano techniques with Swedish design.
Dimensions: Measures 6" high by 6.25" long.
Condition: In excellent vintage condition. There are three very light, less than 1/4 inch surface scratches, along with a tiny amount of air bubbles. A few more light scratches on the underside. Otherwise this item is pristine.
