Number 42 Glass Insulator $8.50

Used to insulate the signal on telegraph poles during the 1920s, 30s, and 40s, the Hemingray Number 42 Insulator was made of turquoise glass in a larger size.

Marked "Hemingray - 42" and "Made in U.S.A".

Insulators are quirky little collectibles which make great decoration (try it on a window ledge where it will catch the light), paperweights or even bookends.

Where will you put yours?

Dimensions: Measures 4.5" tall and around 3.75" wide across the base,

Condition: In generally very good condition, but it does have some tiny unobtrusive chips along the bottom edge and on the inside edges.
