This interesting and unique mid century collector plate depicts a Guam scene of palm tree trunks with a violet colored mountain range in the background.

Painted by Japanese artist Hitomi, this was possibly a souvenir brought back by a serviceman. It is signed by the artist on the front, and also bears the word "Guam".

Backstamped "Made in Japan" in red, it comes with holes for hanging. This was a set of three plates, all of which are for sale here. Buy all three for a 20% rebate!

Dimensions: Measures approximately 8" in diameter.

Condition: In excellent vintage condition. No cracks, chips or repairs. A few tiny light surface scratches do show under very close examination and there is one 1/16" area of missing paint. The gilt line on the inside rim shows only very slight wear.
