This little Mexican wall plaque is of painted black wood with a traditional figure attached in lightweight enamel. The design is busy and very colorful.
Obviously manufactured for the tourist market, on the back it carries an enameled Mexico label as well as a label naming the piece as "La Danza de los Viejitos - Dance of the Old Men". It works alone very well or could be grouped with the Aztec gods in a similar style which are also for sale here.
A nice little mid-century style addition to any decor!
Dimensions: Measures approximately 4.75" by 5.25", with rounded corners.
Condition: In very good vintage condition, with some extremely light contact scratches to the enamel, and a small patch of missing enamel on one foot of the figure - this has rusted over making it hardly noticeable.
